in an effort to catch up with the rest of the net-world, not feel like an old withering luddite and broaden perspective- i jumped into podcasting with one foot. i downloaded two podcasting aggregators- iPodderX and playpod. i'm comparing the two to decide which to buy. anyway, on playpod, there were some links supplied with it and that's how i found adam curry's daily sourcecode.
this is a podcast by adam curry- the old skool 1st generation mtv-j.
he lives in england now, and i think he's left terrestrial radio for podcasting!
interesting broadcast done by someone real- warts, glitches and all. he is a mega-gear nerd, too. i love his philosophy, and politics; his music choices are all over the place, too. adam really loves mash-ups and weird 80's stuff [no surprise].
coolest moment: curry reminiscing about old 80's music while he listens to a podcast while 'casting to us. uh...hold on,
is that like, legal?
to quote the football jock from "bill & ted",
"...uhm...the future's...computers!...SAN DIEMAS HIGHSCHOOLFOOTBALLRULES!!!!!"
he has a blog, too- http://www.dailysourcecode.com
